Welcome to Dordogne Bridge Holidays...

...an exclusive Bridge experience based in the heart of the Dordogne – one of France’s most beautiful and historic regions  - for small groups of friends wanting to learn, or play and improve their bridge together at Domaine Le Ruisseau, an outstanding and luxurious private estate.

Private residential Bridge courses for 4 to 10 people, tailored solely to your groups needs. Relaxed fun play and teaching sessions with plenty of free time to enjoy and explore the Domaine le Ruisseau estate and the region.
Your Party has sole occupancy of Chestnut Cottage, a wonderful 200yr old large stone farmhouse, luxuriously equipped and situated on the 50 acre, Domaine Le Ruisseau private estate with its meadows, lake, stream, swimming complex, woods, ancient trails and wildlife.
Bridge courses are in English and given by Harris Raphael, a highly regarded Bridge teacher, professional member of the English Bridge Union Teachers Association, and Bridge journalist. All teaching is fully EBU licensed.
Courses are designed to be both informative and fun and are structured to meet each Group’s needs. Courses cater for different bidding systems as requested by the Group.   - Acol, Standard American, 5-card major/ Strong NT, etc.
As your party will be the only participants on this exclusive holiday there is always an intimate, social and relaxed feel. Non-Bridge playing guests are very welcome as part of the party, though there must be a minimum for 4 bridge playing guests in your party.
The holiday cost includes all accommodation, all tuition and other Bridge activities, a first-night ‘welcome’ dinner, breakfast ‘pain de campagne’ and we arrange a farewell ‘Presentations’ dinner at a superb Perigordine Auberge - a gastronomic delight. The remaining meals are either self-catered or taken at one of the many wonderful local restaurants.
You have plenty of Bridge playing time while also having ample opportunity to enjoy the delights of the Dordogne, with its Chateaux, rivers, bastide and market towns, world famous pre-history sites, sublime food and wine, outstanding walks and nature.
